Dealing with the Crisis

Forget the financial crisis. There’s a more immediate problem to solve. Wall Street can wait. The Mets have four more days at the most to get into the post-season or not and they need help right now.

So call off the campaign, bring on John McCain, and let’s get his advice on what to do. He needs to meet with Jerry Manuel, the Mets Manager, and work out a plan before it’s too late!

You say, What does McCain know about baseball? Probably at least as much as he knows about sub prime mortgages. If he’s smart enough to help get Wall Street straightened out, surely he can get the Mets on the right track before it’s too late.

So let’s take one crisis at a time and not waste any more time on politics until we get the Mets the help they need.

Wall Street can work something out short term. The campaign can wait.

my condolences – the news was announced at a Wisconsin fundraiser for Mr. Obama whose Brewers fans
were jubilant and are determined.
