The Calendar

I seem to remember a report by a Russian visitor who had been taken to his first American football game. Asked what it was like he said, “They stand around and stand around and then BAM BAM.” My speaking calendar for Beowulf has been a bit like that: nothing in July, one event in August, one in September, and then BAM BAM! Which translates to five events in ten days. After that it gets sparse again, so please pass on any suggestions.

October 3 – 6 p.m. Salisbury School, Salisbury, CT
October 5 – 3 p.m. Concordia College, Bronxville, NY
October 8 – 3 p.m. Seabury Retirement Community, Bloomfield, CT
October 11 – 7 p.m. Connecticut Writers Club, Goshen Elementary School, Goshen CT
October 12 – 6 p.m. House of the Redeemer, Manhattan
December 6 – 5 p.m. Kent Memorial Library, Kent, CT
April 12, 2007 – Glens Falls Library, Glens Falls, NY
August 15, 2007 – Author’s Roundtable at Border Books, Fairfield, CT

Non- Beowulf Events

November 12 – 11 a.m. The Current Crisis in the Episcopal Church,

Many of you have been helpful in arranging these dates, but, as you can see, there are other dates available! If you can suggest libraries, bookstores, retirement communities, or other possible venues, please post suggestions! Many thanks!
